This summer I’ll be spending a lot of time in France, visiting my boyfriend while I’m doing my internship in Germany. Along with planning my upcoming trips, I’ve also been preparing my summer wardrobe. Although my style has become more minimalist, I’m still obsessed with the “French-girl” style. My closet has slowly collected a mix of neutral classics and Reformation-esque pieces. The capsule wardrobe that I’m sharing in this post is what I’ll be inspired by during my visits to France. Flowy dresses, feminine tops, and floral fits make this wardrobe perfect for the summer. Next week I’ll be sharing my minimalist capsule wardrobe that features more of my work wear and classic items.

Color Palette
Summer is my favorite season to add some color to my wardrobe. I’ve included some soft yellow pieces that work nicely with black and neutral colors. I also selected light blue denim for this wardrobe. You could add more of this powder blue color with a floral dress or cropped knit as this color pairs nicely with the soft yellow. Black is always a staple color in my closet because it works with almost any other color. I’ve chosen several pieces in black that compliment many of the clothing items. White and ecru lighten up the color palette.
